On the morning of December 3rd, Nanjing Zhongke Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. and Southeast University jointly held the unveiling ceremony of the Jiangsu Provincial Postgraduate Workstation. Attending the event were Liang Geyu, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Public Health of Southeast University, Zhang Ting, Vice Dean of the School of Public Health of Southeast University, Wang Jin, Vice Dean of the School of Public Health of Southeast University, Professor Sun Guiju from the same school, as well as Feng Peng, President of Zhongke Health Industry Group, Zhou Yajie, Chief Engineer of Zhongke Health Industry Group, Guo Yuan, General Manager of Nanjing Zhongke Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., and Qian Yifan, Chief Quality Officer of Zhongke Health Industry Group.
President Feng Peng delivered a speech at the unveiling ceremony, stating that Zhongke will fully leverage its corporate resource and market advantages to provide graduate students with more abundant practical opportunities and research conditions, and cultivate international, high-level and innovative scientific and technological leaders for the modern traditional Chinese medicine industry. Relying on the scientific and technological advantages and talent advantages of Southeast University, Zhongke will continue to carry out in-depth cooperation in many fields such as the major scientific and technological demands in the development of the traditional Chinese medicine big health industry and the R&D of innovative anti-tumor traditional Chinese medicine drugs. We will vigorously promote basic research, concentrate efforts on tackling key core technologies, build an industry innovation platform, achieve more original “from 0 to 1” breakthroughs, and help more scientific research achievements take root and bear fruit
Secretary Liang Geyu read out the official approval document for the Jiangsu Provincial Postgraduate Workstation and stated that as a research-oriented university, Southeast University boasts distinctive advantages in practical education and talent cultivation. Nanjing Zhongke Pharmaceutical is a leading enterprise in the traditional Chinese medicine big health industry, and it is expected that by leveraging the corporate platform, both parties will jointly cultivate high-quality and innovative public health talents, improve the quality of postgraduate education and drive scientific and technological innovation. This also embodies the important significance of the university in further deepening industry-university cooperation and promoting the integrated development of industry, university and research. She hoped that both sides will work together to achieve fruitful results at the workstation, and make greater contributions to the high-quality development and talent cultivation of the biotech and health industry in Jiangsu Province and even the whole country.
After the unveiling ceremony, Secretary Liang Geyu and her entourage from Southeast University visited the Jiangsu Provincial Science Popularization Education Base and participated in the science experience project of the Zhongke Pharmaceutical Technology Service Station under the Nanjing Science and Technology Innovation Service Initiative.
