On the morning of October 19, a delegation led by Xie Jingrong, Member of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress and Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the China Democratic League (CDL), and Gao Yuhong, Director of the Department of Social Services of the CDL Central Committee, paid an inspection visit to Zhongke Health Industry Group. The delegation was accompanied throughout the visit by Feng Quan, Deputy Secretary-General of the Jiangsu Provincial Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) and Full-time Vice Chairman of the CDL Jiangsu Provincial Committee, Zhan Feifu, Secretary-General of the CDL Jiangsu Provincial Committee, Yang Jie, Director of the Department of Social Services of the CDL Jiangsu Provincial Committee, Wang Lian’an, Chairman of Zhongke Health Industry Group, and Peng Yajuan, Vice President of Zhongke Health Industry Group.

Vice Chairman Xie Jingrong and his entourage conducted an on-site visit to the park at No. 8 Zhongke Road, and toured the Zhongke Enterprise Exhibition Hall and the Modern TCM Production Hall. Chairman Wang Lian’an gave a detailed report on Zhongke’s 40-year development history, scientific research endeavors, and development plans, and highlighted the relevant work jointly carried out by Zhongke and the China Association for Promoting Democracy, including the co-establishment of Zhongke Hope Primary School and the launch of the industry-university cooperation program of Zhongke Enlightenment Class.

After hearing the report, Vice Chairman Xie Jingrong fully affirmed the achievements Zhongke has made in industrial development, scientific research and innovation, and commended the Group for having extended love and warmth to Zhongke Hope Primary School for more than 20 consecutive years and made positive contributions to the sound development of the Project Hope cause. He encouraged Zhongke to base itself on the Group’s advantageous sectors, raise the efficiency of scientific and technological achievement transformation, and make greater contributions to serving the high-quality development of the local economy and society.
